Jason's ordinary life as a professor is shattered when he is kidnapped by a masked version of himself.

Jason Dessen is abducted at gunpoint and wakes up in a world where he is a famous physicist but has no family. He soon discovers that another version of himself has stolen his life.

The Abduction

After celebrating his friend Ryan's award, Jason is stopped at gunpoint by a masked man. The stranger asks him, 'Are you happy in your life?' before injecting him with a drug. Jason wakes up in a high-tech facility called Velocity, where his colleagues claim he has been missing for 15 months.

The Realization

Jason escapes the facility and finds his way home, but everything is wrong. His wife Daniela is a stranger who never married him, and his house is a high-end bachelor pad. He realizes he has been swapped with a version of himself who chose career over love.

Jason sees the man who kidnapped him—Jason2—living his life with his real family.
