The Last of Us Episode 6 Recap: What Happened
Joel and Ellie find a thriving community in Jackson, Wyoming, where Joel's brother Tommy lives. Joel admits his fear of losing Ellie and tries to leave her with Tommy, but eventually decides to stay with her.
The Sanctuary Of Jackson
Joel and Ellie discover a functional, peaceful society in Jackson where people live in houses with electricity and community rules. Tommy has built a new life and is expecting a child, which makes Joel even more aware of his own age and failing reflexes. He fears that he is too weak to protect Ellie and begs Tommy to take her the rest of the way.
The University Ambush
After a heated argument where Ellie reminds Joel that she is not his daughter Sarah, Joel decides to stay by her side. They head to a nearby university to find the Fireflies, but they are ambushed by a group of raiders. Joel is stabbed in the gut during the struggle, leaving him bleeding out in the snow while Ellie desperately tries to save him.
